David Beckham’s MLS Franchise is finally taking off. The former Manchester United’s side has been given permission to buy players and Beckham has been talking about acquiring Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Beckham and Ibrahimovic played together during the former Real Madrid man’s time at Paris Saint Germain and the former England international is full of admiration for the 34 year old Swede and would very much like to make him an acquisition in his Miami side.
“We have received permission to build an arena and it will take three years … maybe two, at best,” he told Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet. “If Ibrahimovic is still active, then I want to buy him right away. He is a physically magnificent specimen, so it’s entirely possible. Who does not want a man who is prepared to kill to win?”
Ibrahimovic is one of the most decorated players around the world, winning league titles in the Netherlands, Italy, Spain and in France. Leading the scoring charts with 15 goals in 14 games this season, Ibrahimovic would also love to put his stamp on the MLS and Beckham would want him there.
